Vice President Joe Biden was in
Columbia Tuesday.
The gaffe-prone VP said: “GOP doesn't do what it says.”
The quote appeared in The State newspaper as a headline to their story on Biden's visit.
This outgha be good reading. |
The charge by Biden begs the IMMEDIATE response: "The Democrat Party does what it
says...and that's why the country is in such a mess."
The
State newspaper says hundreds of South Carolina voters
showed up to see Biden, but who DID NOT show, is more telling.
Vincent Sheheen, the representative of
Biden's Democrat Party, who is running for governor was nowhere to be seen as his
party's high-profile standard-bearer was trotted out for all to see.
Sheheen has been warmer to President Jefferson Davis than he has anyone in President Obama's administration.
Biden told the faithful that “it's
crucial to support Democrats if they value financial success and the
ability to advance.”
Under Obama-Biden rule, family
households have had an income decline of 10 percent, on top of higher prices
for gas, energy, healthcare and food. Food banks are closing doors, and companies going bankrupt.
In startling news to non-Democrats,
Biden said “he might mount a third presidential bid in
2016,” according to The State newspaper.
The State's story was posted by Meg
Kinnard of the AP. She did not mention Sheheen's high-profile
absence.
Kinnard did say: “The appearance was
billed as a get-out-the-vote rally. It featured several prominent
South Carolina Democrats, including U.S. Rep. Jim Clyburn.”
Kinnard also fawned over the goofy VP,
trying to endear him the SC voters.
She said: “Throughout his tenure as
vice president, Biden has continued to carefully cultivate ties to
key states, including South Carolina, where he would have to seek
support should he decide to run in 2016.”
I wonder who Biden's first campaign
staff hire might be in the Palmetto State, when he throws his hat in
the ring.
Let's hope he does. Can you imagine
Jokey Joe and Ratchet Hillary going at it. You have to laugh just
thinking about that match-up in a Democrat Party Primary.
