The role of the wife and mother in the Lexington child murder case

This horrible tragedy of five murdered children in Lexington is a good time to look at the woman's role in society, and start demanding better from the worst of them.
Too many women are placed in a position as the recipient of sympathy, no matter what they do.
Current American culture is vicious toward men. Ray Rice was essentially banned from the NFL for punching his fiance. And a cavalcade of media wants more blood for the abuse of Rice. There are demands that the NFL commissioner be fired, because he did not act severely enough, soon enough.
And Tim Jones, who killed his five children in Lexington, is rightly seen as a demon. And that is fair. We all hope our justice system executes the just penalty, unblocked by criminal-friendly, appeal-filing trial lawyers.
But what responsibility do women have in society for their actions?
Tim Jones, was distraught over what he believed was his wife’s “inappropriate relationship” with a 19-year-old neighbor in 2012, according to court records.
Amber Jones, 28, and Tim Jones were married 10 years. The marriage ended last fall with a divorce because of allegations of Amber Jones' affair. She was also charged in a complaint with neglecting her children, the court records state.
Amber Jones was investigated by DSS for alleged neglect of her children in September of 2011.
In a report filed by the husband, Tim Jones said his wife “had not been taking care of the house or the kids. Mrs. Jones did not clean their home or feed the children in an acceptable manner,” a report in The State newspaper says.
Marriage is a contract that goes two ways. But women seemed to be given a pass when they fail to hold up their end of the deal. Has the feminist movement so vilified men, that women don't have responsibility?
If wife abuse is a major issue in America, and it is, what about women who cheat, or fail to attend properly to their children?
It's about time we implement gender equality. Cheating, drug-using and child-neglecting wives are a disease to our families. And this sickening case in Lexington is a horrific example what decadent behavior gone bad can result in.
Good mothers, and accountable wives, know what sacrifices have to made. It about time these bad women are called out for the harm they do to our society.
