Obama's economy forces Columbia food bank to life support

Missouri Political News Service image.

Sadly, the people most-likely to idolize Obama, suffering most.

According to The State newspaper: Harvest Hope Book Bank’s four emergency food pantries are implementing
partial closings.
The hungry and needy using Harvest Hope Food Bank's emergency food pantry on Shop Road got a big, and demoralizing surprise when they found the pantry closed Wednesday morning.
The State said closing the emergency food pantry “is part of a rotating system that has been put into place throughout the food bank's four locations in the wake of recent employee furloughs.”
Also: because of more destitute and hungry people, produced by the horrible Obama-economy, the food bank has had to lay off employees. The food bank is having trouble making ends meet too.
In a down economy, donations become more difficult to attract, while demand increases.
The Obama-economy is a disaster all the way around.
As a result, The State said: “the food bank has reduced the days of operation at its four locations on Shop Road as well as in Cayce, Florence and Greenville.”
Food Bank officials have do not know when the plight will end.

Also: The State did not mention the depressed economy as a reason for the overwhelming demand of the impoverished. But high unemployment, expensive healthcare, astronomical food and gas prices, with no relief in sight have been constant since President Barack Obama took office in 2008.
