Vice, crime and irresponsibility, all factors in child murderer's life

The 60s drug culture,
claimed peace and love as its
basis. That was not true.
It's more closely related  to
evil and irresponsibility.
Timothy Jones, 32, killed his five children, ages 8, 7, 6, 2 and 1.
Facts are slowly trickling out about the horrible act.
As information leaks out, we can ask God to please let those with open hearts and minds take note of the danger posed by commonly accepted practices of the worldly.
First, we leaned that Jones' wife of 10 years, Amber Jones 28, had been accused of an improper relationship with a 19-yer-old neighbor. She had also been accused of neglecting her children in a DSS complaint, before the Joneses divorced.
Interim Lexington County Sheriff Lewis McCarty, called Amber Jones, who did not have custody of her children, a “very sweet lady.”
On Wednesday, Jones' father, Tim Jones Sr. warned people not to make a judgment on his son.
"He is not the animal that he will be portrayed through the media,” Jones Sr. said. “Our little Tim a very loving father, brother and son.”
Tim Jones Jr., the Lexington transplant form a suburb of Chicago was arrested in Mississippi on Saturday and had drug-related paraphernalia in his vehicle. He seemed to be under the influence of drugs, police said. Police found blood and childrens clothes in his SUV.
Jones Jr. when he was 19, was arrested for a cocaine possession charge in March of 2001, in Illinois. Later that year he was charged with stealing a car, burglary and passing forged checks, according to criminal records in Illinois. Jones has also been discharged, early from the Navy
Tim Jones Sr., admitted his son had a criminal record, but he made light of it.
“Typical teenager doing stupid stuff, that's about it," Tim Jones Sr. told the Associated Press from his home in Amory, Mississippi.
Tim Jones Jr. had a wife who allegedly fooled around. He had a penchant for illegal drugs and a father that seems to be delusional. There may be a picture developing here before our eyes.
Of course, nothing can explain why Tim Jones killed his precious five children, unless he is the Devil himself.
But there is no mention of any church in his life, his father seems out-of-touch with reality, and there is no accountability aimed at the mother of the children. Tim Jones vowed mate for life, seemed to be devoted to her personal pursuits, more than tending to the welfare of her children.
When media fails to lay out the secular and pop culture items that surrounded Tim Jones, it is no wonder that it is difficult to fit all the pieces together.
All of the societal diseases that oft-ridiculed social conservatives rail against were prevalent in Jones' life before he murdered his five children.
Until we focus on the rot of our culture, and are honest about the danger, without apologies, why should we not expect to see more Tim Joneses?
