Fired Harvest Hope Food Bank add to Obama's joblessness rate

Media, food bank director still claiming "recovery" and "uptick."

Harvest Hope Food Bank (HHFB) has reduced its work force to 78 from 88 and enacted indefinite

furloughs, effective immediately at four emergency food pantry locations in Columbia, says The State newspaper.

The bad news was sprung Tuesday, on the poor souls terminated. Harvest Hope canned employees in Cayce, Florence and Greenville.

What the media failed to say is: trickle down economics works. And it works both ways. Liberal politics leads to Obama voters starving. Obama has transformed America into a third-world economy.

“What we’ve got is a continued spike in needs over this recession period,” said Mark Zion, HHFB Board Chairman.

I'll say. And that “Recession began the day Obama took office, and it has not let up. But the media was not admitting Obama is to blame. They are even trying to claim things are better.

Food stamp hand-outs have spiked under
Obama, and food banks are still overloaded. 

From The State: “While the economy has seen a slight uptick, (HHFB Director Denise) Holland said that has yet to resonate in many of the state’s rural areas.”
 What “slight uptick?” What planet do these leftwing space cadets live on?

The economy is so bad, the people who depended on Obama, and voted for him, are on the verge of collapse. Holland admitted that each morning, the lines of those needing food are to the road. The demand is enormous. That's in addition to a record almost 50 million people on food stamps. And the people who produce, and fund the food bank are hurting too, thanks to Obama's poor handling of the economy.

Yet liberals are in denial: Quote from The State: “The people who are suffering from hunger have not seen an improvement in their financial condition yet,” Holland said, adding it may take longer for those families to benefit from the recovery. “I think that’s why the numbers (of starving) have increased.”

RECOVERY? Is this woman drunk on kool-aid laced with happy juice?

One of the ugliest traits of the left, and the media, is denying the truth, if it is not in line with their politics and myth-based belief system.

People are starving, liberal-staffed help-agencies, funded by the productive are falling apart. But the question remains, when will the left stop denying that their savior-government of Obama and the Democrat Party has failed?

Until those who elect collapse, repent for the disaster they are creating, we cannot begin to totally heal this country.

And the media, by avoiding to tell their minions, is just exacerbating the problem.
