Lexington County's unemployment rate spikes in June

More people are looking for work in Lexington County, and the unemployment rate shot up sharply from May to June.
Statistics were released Monday by the SC Department of Employment Workforce (DEW.)
In June the county's unemployment rate was 4.8%, up from 4.2% in May.
Lexington County continues to have the lowest unemployment rate in South Carolina. The county is tied with Greenville County, also at 4.8%.
