Media, FOI thyself: and fire the intellectual criminals!

SC  Political Digest believes in
honest media. Not unethical journalists
demanding disclose to which they
does not adhere.
The SC Supreme Court ruled in June that state and local governing bodies can modify public meeting agendas at will.
The court, ruling in relation to the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) also said that public bodies don't have to submit agendas at all.
“Nowhere in FOIA is there a statement that an agenda is required for regularly scheduled meetings," according to the court. “Nor is there any restriction contained in FOIA on the amendment of an agenda.”
This ruling would normally be unacceptable. But there could be a reason  it does not cause as much outrage.
The media is the biggest complainer about FOIA abuses.
.The media is seen as one of the most-dishonest institutions in our society. When you have a media that persecutes, or protects, based on its liberal politics, the people do not trust it.
The secrecy behind the firing of popular Columbia newscaster by leftest-preaching WIS GM Donitia Todd, is an example of media working against the people.
Not to defend politicians who may try to hide what they are doing, but it's difficult to take a side when you pit them against the media.
More people need to start demanding truth and honesty. And that demand needs to be directed toward a corrupted media, as much as it is elected officials.
