Was media Push Poll devised to bash GOP legislators?

A ”survey” published by a Charleston newspaper and some television stations, concludes that people “disapprove” of South Carolina's General Assembly.
The GA, (the SC House and Senate) is majority Republican.
By a 45-to-22 percent count, the poll found that most don't like the legislature.
But the South Carolina lawmakers have had some noteworthy successes lately. That may have been reflected in the poll's finding that most respondents said the state is moving in the right direction. Most feel, nationally, we've been moving in the wrong direction for some time.
The General Assembly pulled kick-back funding from homosexual-promoting required reading at the College of Charleston this year.
The legislature also withdrew funding from USC-Upstate for pushing liberal-lifestyle initiatives. After the legislature's action, USC-Upstate dismantled a polarizing and radical Gender Studies Department at the school.
Hopefully the message was sent to other colleges with a penchant for tainting education with leftwing ideology. Legislators signaled they will deal responsibly, from the Statehouse.
The legislature also funded more school choice, and struck a blow of disapproval toward the very unpopular Common Core Standards.
The legislature stands united against the expansion of the wasteful and expensive federal Medicare program in the state. Legislators opposed Obamacare and recently rallied for Voter Integrity (or Voter ID) laws. An assault on sex education, by a liberal lobbying group, was thwarted too.
And there are more.
If the pollsters would have reminded the voters of all of the successes our legislators have perpetuated in representing us, perhaps the poll would have been different. But the media does not inform or educate the public, because the GOP legislature goes against media political doctrine.
Of course, the poll may have been directed toward Obama-phone users only. Those phone phone numbers are the easiest to obtain from the presidential administration that they bear the name of.
If that is the case, the poll results are understandable.
