Columbia- Benjamin's race-based politics ripping apart the Democrat Party

John Dozier is USC's "Diversity"
Czar. Though 80% of H-Tax money goes to
minority groups, he said it's not enough.
Embattled Mayor Steve Benjamin is demanding more government money be distributed based on race.
Benjamin said a citizens committee has to pay closer attention to diversity -or skin color - in the city’s spending of millions of dollars in meal-tax money.
What a lot of white voters are learning is that Democrat politics are very attentive to skin color, only. Nothing else matters. Not merit, fairness, character or justice.
Violent crime and murder in Columbia seems to be on the increase. Benjamin, a powerful Democrat, has been accused of serious ethics offenses that could become criminal if investigated.
Columbia desperately needs fit leadership. Or it will slouch more toward the collapse that eventually befell Detroit.
A reaction of outrage occurred Thursday when a Columbia City Council-appointed committee was attacked for not doling out excess tax money, based on race.
Columbia was salivating over $325,000 in 'extra funding' being handed-out to arts and civic groups. The group gets $2.5 million to do with what it wants, from extra meal taxes on Columbia restaurant diners.
Benjamin has gone so far as to incorporate USC's top Diversity czar. The czar lambasted the committee for not giving enough of the booty to minority managed organizations.
But the chairman of the citizens committee did his own study to show that 80% of the tax money already goes to "minority groups." Anyone familiar with the "agency" structure knows that likely rings true.
The reprimand from the diversity officer drew a response of anger from the citizens committee.
How much longer before the politics of race drives any self-respecting white voter out of the Democrat Party? The split is a serious one and spells trouble for the viability of the party.
