Columbia mayor wants illegal aliens, opponents guilty of "hate rhetoric"

What could be motivating politicians
to blatantly break immigration laws?
Columbia Mayor Steve Benjamin plans to introduce a resolution during Tuesday's  City Council meeting that will welcome to Columbia, children forced to America by parents who did not want to keep them.
The alien children have been given to coyotes – or human traffickers - who are paid to bring them to the U.S.
Here, they hope to avail themselves to the many social programs that the our workers pay for.
According WIS-TV, Benjamin's program for illegals comes as the Obama administration scrambles to deal with the thousands of children overrunning the border, at which Obama has offered no resistance, or solution.
Some speculate Obama is trying to motivate voters because he is in electoral trouble after his policies – like Obamacare - have failed miserably. Obama's economy has been one of misery, too.
Benjamin, like Obama, could be playing a compassion-based distraction game, after being connected to scandals.
Gov. Nikki Haley has been steadfast in demanding responsibility. She has been critical of the federal bumbling on immigration because of the cost for care. The U.S. economy has been staggering since late 2008, so it's hard to afford an influx of illegals.
A representative of the South Carolina Appleseed Legal Justice Center said views like Haley's is a display of a “rhetoric of hate.” Appleseed sides with Benjamin on the resolution to bring in illegals. But neither Appleseed or Benjamin cited resources to pay for them.
Federal officials have already sent 350 illegal aliens to the state, but refused to divulge any information about them, when asked.
