Democrats lose at the ballot box, get corrupt grand jury to do their bidding. A Travis County (TX) grand jury Friday indicted Texas Gov. Rick Perry on two charges. The indictment is retribution related to Perry's effort last year to remove Democrat District Attorney Rosemary Lehmberg after her drunken driving arrest.
Lehmberg was driving dangerously and, according to a media report, had three times the legal amount of alcohol in her system. But she refused to leave office and asked for millions in government funding.
Perry was right to veto the $7.5 million in taxpayer money that Lehmberg wanted for the office she should have vacated.
Perry, who has been very successful as governor, looks like he is preparing to run for president. Democrats, who begin in a deep hole in regard to the 2016 presidential election will be looking for ways to "take out" serious GOP challenges. The Obama record will be an impediment to the White House for presumed Democrat nominee Hilary Clinton. She is already attempting to distance herself from Obama, and his miserable terms as president.
Liberals will INDICT a ham sandwich, but NEVER take responsibility, and are not made to account, for their truly corrupt behavior.
This country is upside down. The justice system is askew. There is no leadership in Washington.
We are at a very low point in this country's history.
